Today, the committee to elect Loretta Lepore for Georgia’s House District 54 announced the 8-member campaign finance team that will lead fundraising efforts for Lepore’s State House campaign.  The finance committee is comprised of many of Georgia’s most influential business leaders and entrepreneurs.

“I am sincerely appreciative to the growing number of influential Atlantans who are lending their support to my campaign.  It is an honor to have such a highly regarded and broad ranging group of community leaders assisting me in my bid for the State House,” said Lepore.

Craig Lesser, former commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, says, “I worked directly with Loretta while she served as director of marketing for the state of Georgia.  She is smart, savvy and truly understands the decisions our business leaders face.  She deftly navigates both the policy and business worlds.  I am confident that the voters who live and work in the Buckhead and Brookhaven neighborhoods will be well-served by her in the State House.”

Janey Lowe with Beacham & Company Realtors, and member of the Garden Hills Civic Association Board of Directors, explains why she is supporting Lepore.  “Loretta clearly understands the issues facing small business owners.  She owns and operates her firm and she understands firsthand the challenges, lessons and rewards of building a business from the ground up.  I also know that Loretta is committed to improving education.  As the mom of two boys, she knows the importance of preparing our kids for the competitive, knowledge-based jobs of the future,” says Lowe.
