Get to Know the Apple of Our Eye; Celebrating Teachers All Year Long!

Primrose School of Dunwoody selects Ms. Cornelius as the Teacher of the Month for October!

My name is Hope Cornelius and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Preschool 2 classroom. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA, but moved to the Atlanta area about a year ago. While living in Philadelphia, I discovered that I really enjoyed working with youth and had the opportunity to work with children ranging from ages 1 to 12. In 2008, I left Philadelphia to attend college in Ohio, and received my degree in Social Work this past summer.

As an Assistant Teacher here at Primrose School of Dunwoody, I have truly developed a love for the three year old classroom. I consider it a joy to come to see my students grow and learn every day and am excited to see their development throughout the rest of this school year.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending weekends with my family, going to the movies, making crafts, and exploring the city of Atlanta. I love watching “Masterchef” and testing out recipes on my family. My next challenge is to master the chocolate lava cake!

Congratulations to Ms. Cornelius!
