Join us for “Beta Israel: Ethiopian Jews and the Promised Land,” an exhibition that explores the mass migration of Ethiopian Jews into modern Israeli society and the integration difficulties they face.
The exhibition is inspired by the book The Ethiopian Jews of Israel by Len Lyons and features 100 photographs by South African photojournalist Ilan Ossendryver. Free for OUMA members; general admission: $5. OUMA is open Tuesday-Sunday, 12 noon-5pm. More information: museum.oglethorpe.edu.
