Bring the whole family to enjoy a celebration of Tibetan culture during the 5th Annual Atlanta Tibetan Festival. Activities will include meditation, music, dance, games, a Tibetan Bazaar, children’s arts and crafts, door prizes, Tibetan food, and live performances from Drepung Vajra Band, and the monks of the Mystical Arts of Tibet.
All funds raised during the event will enable Drepung Loseling Monastery to continue to provide programs to serve the Atlanta community and to help preserve the endangered Tibetan culture outside of Tibet.
Note on parking:
There will be an area of parking made available for the festival on the Dresden side of the Plaza Fiesta Shopping Center between 9am and 5pm on Nov 4, 2012. A shuttle bus will run round trips all day from this location.
Plaza Fiesta is located at 4166 Buford Hwy, Atlanta, GA, which is approximately five minutes walk from Drepung Loseling. If you or someone in your party is not able to get onto the bus, you may drop them off at the center and then park.

More About Drepung Loseling
The colorful entrance to Drepung Loseling, a center for Tibetan Buddhist studies, practice and culture, makes a friendly statement along Dresden Drive. Affiliated with Emory University, Drepung Loseling is the North American seat of the monastery in India and is honored with the patronage of the Dalai Lama. In addition to cultural study in the Buddhist tradition of wisdom and compassion, the center offers meditation workshops and yoga.
