Items of interest to Brookhaven and Chamblee residents during the Summer Of 2012
My first summer job (actually, it was my first job, ever) let me know in a hurry that I wasn't cut out for retail. My experience as a clerk/cashier at the old Revco Drug Store in Chamblee Plaza not only gained me a newfound sense of respect for those who stand on their feet all day and deal with surly customers, but it also impressed upon me the fact that I needed a new form of employment in the future. Brookhaven Patch wants to hear about your first summer job, where it was, what it was, and what you learned from it. I've told you mine. Now, let's hear yours.
Editor's Note: Summer 2012 has arrived (OK, well, not officially according to the calendar, but in spirit, anyway), and Summer Jobs Thursday is one of the regular features that Brookhaven Patch will be featuring till the end of the season.
