When I attempt to prove myself intelligent to my friends with information I acquire, I preface the comment with "Did you know...?" Chances are, they do, but it's still fun to tell the story. I've decided to do the same thing here with this column. First the bad news: For seven months, I completely ignored - albeit unintentional - the new(ish) Goodwill Donation trailer at 3974 Peachtree Road next to McDonald's. According to Goodwill's media specialist Rashida Powell, the trailer opened July 1, 2011, and is opened 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Now the good news: I finally noticed it. For those of us who live closer to Peachtree Road than the traditional donation centers, this is very convenient.
