Max Davis stutter his charge against Murray that the issue of taking campaign contributions from vendors amounted to Murray's "definition of vendors" despite his own unexpected and voluntary annoucemet, according to the Patch (and later his own confirmating post to B'Patch) of his taking campaign contributions from vendors---by his and, in fact, any defiintion--as early as, and at, the first public event of the non-elected commission/interim government?

My job may not be pretty but the constant business I get from Breton Ct. makes the City of Brookhaven look pretty appealing to me.
I need people to understand that we will be AWARDING one of the Mayoral candidates a position in the City to represent us and speak on our behalf on topics such as quality of life, infrastructure and safety. These people need to AWARD this distinction to the person with the best qualities such as honesty, ethics, trust and experience. Each of these have a varying degree of these qualities. I for one would appreciate the person that is AWARDED the honor on speaking on my behalf would do so without corruption and smarmy tactics. I was behind J Max (no pun intended) until he announced on his own that he took contributions from prospect vendors. I cannot get past this. This is something I would never do as I am a person of solid moral fiber. I would never AWARD someone the right to represent me as thats in on the take. Too bad J Max chose to sell his honor for a few bucks for a political campaign. I am disgusted and disappointed. I wish the best for the people of Brookhaven. His behavior will tag us if we vote for him as people who advocate these actions in our elected officials.
