Urban deer

A doe and buck were spotted trying to cross Harts Mill Road near the intersection with Ashford-Dunwoody Road.  Wish I had a camera!Any chance on getting a Deer Crossing Sign there?  LOLDeer  tracks  were also discovered near 1459 West Nancy Creek Drive

Ms. Barbara, I just love to see such sights, but not in the city adjacent to high traffic roadways. Not deer friendly at all and darting deer will be casualties along high traffic corridors regardless of signage.

I used to see deer regularly drinking out of a residential swimming pool at the home of a Rich’s executive that lived at West Paces Ferry and Ridgewood Road many years ago. Fortunately, the deer had a lot of land to roam around in low traffic areas adjacent to the Chattahoochee River.

Please pass the yellow mustard!

Deerburger anyone? Too bad the season is over. Why don't they put the deer crossing signs in low traffic areas so the deer will have a safe place to cross? Blame the GA ASSembly for allowing baiting/feeding of wildlife.

Please pass the hot sauce!

What about the human casualties that could possibly result from a darting deer totaling a car or worse. It happened to me and I'm damn lucky I wasn't killed. Hitting a deer with your car is like slamming into a brick wall. Keep hunting, hunters!
