Three Chamblee High Students Earn Scholarships

The latest round of National Merit Scholarships are financed by colleges and universities.

 


Three Chamblee High School students have been awarded National Merit Scholarships through the National Merit Scholarship Corp.

Jackie Podoll, Kelsey Jane Lowrey and Megha Eliza Mathews will received between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate studies at the school providing the scholarship.

Podoll will attend Georgia Tech, and study industrial engineering. Lowrey is planning to attend UGA and wants a career in biotechnology research. Mathews has been accepted at Georgia Tech and wants to explore the field of biomedical engineering.

More than 2,500 winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities were announced.
