Share a Photo of Your Favorite Puppy on National Puppy Day

March 23 is recognized annually as National Puppy Day.

National Puppy Day is a movement to call attention to the need to adopt puppies and to stop puppy mills across America.

There are between 8,000 to 10,000 puppy mills in the U.S.  - many of which tragically treat puppies like commodities, rather than giving them safe, clean and loving environments.

So, let's celebrate National Puppy Day! You can do so by sharing a story about your favorite puppy, past or present, in the comments section below.  Consider making a donation to a local pet agency such as the Atlanta Humane Society or the DeKalb County Animal Services, or go all out and make today the day you adopt a puppy of your own.
