Atlanta Murder Suspect Also Alleged In Chamblee Carjacking
Ladarius Hardy, arrested on Wednesday for murder, is also believed to have been responsible for a Chamblee car jacking.
U.S. Marshals apprehended Hardy on Wednesday while he was hiding at a friend's house in Conyers, and was transported to Fulton County Jail later in the afternoon.
Hardy is alleged to have approached his victim at the Chatsworth Apartment complex's mailbox location and demanded her car keys, cell phone pass code and ATM identification number.
The victim said her car, laptop, purse and other personal information was stolen.
The victim’s car was recovered near an ATM six days after the incident. Hardy is allegedly to have tried to withdraw money from the same ATM several times.
Terry Porter of southwest Atlanta was gunned down in his driveway, and robbed for his Range Rover and money that he had in his wallet. Hardy also was seen on surveillance cameras using Porter's ATM card and vehicle.
The SW Atlanta victim's brother, Levi Bias, told Channel 2 news that he believes there is still more to this story. He believes Ladarius Hardy could not have acted alone, because his brother was so big and strong. Levi was also very instrumental in helping the police officials identify Hardy as the suspect which helped this case begin to come to a close.
