PDK Hosting Event Designed To Attract Industry
The event is set for Thursday, May 17, at 10 am.
DeKalb County Commission Chair Larry Johnson is hosting an event on Thursday at PDK Airport designed to stimulate the local economy and bring new industry to DeKalb.
"DeKalb has a lot to offer local, national and international industry," said Ingrid Butler, a spokesman for Johnson. "We have one of the most diverse counties in Georgia and the nation, and home to a number of global companies.
"We wanted to host an event highlighting these business opportunities."
The event will be held from 10 am to 1 pm, and will feature speakers from companies such as Microsoft and Verizon, as well as the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce and other public and private entities.
