Brookhaven's Murphey Candler Park Girls Softball League held its opening day ceremonies this past Saturday, March 9.

Murphey Candler Girls’ Softball Association (MCGSA) introduced girl’s fastpitch softball to Atlanta in 1968. The league has grown by 30 percent over the past year.
