Eyre Announces District 2 Town Hall Meetings
The city councilman is holding one town hall meeting this week and another next week.

District 2 City Councilman Jim Eyre is holding two hall meetings to hear from his constituents about the new city of Brookhaven.
The first event is set for Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 7 pm at the Ashford Park recreation building located in Ashford Memorial Park, 2980 Redding Road.
The second will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, also at 7 pm, in the community room at the Briarwood Recreation Center, 2235 Briarwood Way.

Kudos to Jim Eyre on these Town Hall meetings. At this early juncture in the start of the City, all council members would be well advised to conduct a number of twonahll meetings in the midst of their regular council meetings to get face to face contact with their constituents.
Yes, residents can go to these council meetings. But, let's face it, they can be boring and wrapped on Robert's Rule of Order. The most "economical" use of time to get feedback from the voters is through these type of Town Hall Meetings.
