Davis Holding Campaign Kickoff On Sunday

The event will be held at Blackburn Park in Brookhaven.

J. Max Davis is hosting a family fun campaign kickoff and fundraiser at Blackburn Park on Sunday Sept. 9, from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m.

“I have already started my campaign but this event will be my first official gathering. We hope folks from every part of Brookhaven will come out and learn more about my candidacy and offer their input on how we can start Brookhaven off right” said Davis.

Davis is running to become Brookhaven’s first mayor.

Live music with Jay Memory; a jumpee for the kids, and other activities will be taking place throughout the day. Drinks and snacks will be provided. No tickets or reservations are required but go to www.jmaxforbrookhaven.com and leave a message if plan to attend.

Hello all...

This sounds like a wonderful party for all! I certainly hope that the other mayoral candidates do the same. I so love parties where we can all gather! Kudos to Mr Davis for starting a wonderful tradition. Community is so important.

And so pleased that I'll be able to meet everyone. Although I hear drinks & snacks will be provided, I'll bring along a large batch for patch of my most delicious desserts. It'll be a party surprise.

Until then may you all be well!

I am new to this technology thing, so please be kind, but Hamburger, how will you be voting? I am for Thom cause he can't do any damage. Seems like a nice fella! Any thoughts?

Just Wondering - I had the occasion to talk with Thom for an hour and a half one night over dinner. I agree with you that he seems like a nice fella. Not knowing anything about him I asked him if I should vote for him or J Max Davis. His reply was that I should vote for J Max Davis as J Max has been intimately involved in the planning for the city for a few years now. Thom went on to state that he hoped to get up to speed before the election on December 6th and convince people to vote for him, but ultimately his goal was to inform people of the need for sustainability and he would drop out of the race before the election if it didn't look like he could win. I informed him that the vote was on November 6th and he thought I was wrong until 4 or 5 other people at the table chimed in to confirm the date. J Max gets my vote!

"Looks like I'm going to have to complain to UBS again. Corey, have any meetings in your building with Russell Mitchell lately and the rest of the Brookhaven Yes crowd?"

Actually, the meetings are being held with Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Chad . . .

Please pass the yellow mustard!

I'm hearing about 150. honestly, anything more than 50 during a football weekend is good.

There were 37 people at J Maxs get together. I know because I sat on the grassy knoll and counted. J Max is a farse.

Mr. Just wondering, just a little politics going on, and very interesting considering the names attributed to the questionable post. And, the DIRTY continues . . .

Please pass they yellow mustard!

I'll be voting for the Easter Bunny for Mayor and Santa Claus for city Council. This is fantasyland right?
