Chamblee Zaxby's Will Open Next Monday
After months of delays, the chain's seventh DeKalb County location will open on Nov. 12, 2012.
Opening day for Chamblee's first Zaxby's has finally been announced.
SAQ Enterprise, Inc., announced late Wednesday afternoon that it will open the doors to Chamblee’s first Zaxby’s on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012. The restaurant is located at 4906 Peachtree Blvd., next to Lowe’s.
Zaxby’s will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The new 4,000-square-foot location will seat 92 customers.
The new location will be the seventh for Dekalb County and the 204th for Georgia.
Zaxby’s currently operates more than 560 locations in 13 states — Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

You are going to have to prove "high fat" to me. Hey, look! There's a CDC building right o'er there. I bet an Emory student would do it for free. Ah, let's just send some to America's Test Kitchen, but don't give them advances notice.

Did it really open? It is not listed as a location in the Zaxby's web site (www.zaxbys.com).

We received word early Monday morning that the restaurant's grand opening has been delayed until next Monday, Nov. 19.
