Carlton is an extraordinary young man educated at Woodward Elementary, Sequoyah Middle School, and Cross Keys High School. He was '10 Valedictorian and a standout in football and track. His work ethic and good nature made him a favorite of students and teachers alike. Hundreds in Brookhaven were served by Carlton without knowing they were in the presence of a truly great human being. He worked the drive through at Peachtree McDonald's since his sophomore year at CKHS right through his sophomore year at GT. Mr. Washington competed against 6,500 other applicants to be named a President's Scholar at Georgia Tech where he has made Dean's every year since entering. Remember this name, Brookhaven.
