The Brookhaven Farmers Market will make its 2012 debut Saturday, May 5.
The market, with its goal as providing healthy locally-produced food and products for the community, will feature some of last year's vendors including Dilwood Farms, phoenix Farms CSA and Mad Mamas, West Wind, King of Pops, and Fat Lady Baker. New vendors will include Double B Farms, Darby Farms, Happy Hogs and Dunwoody Honey.
The Brookhaven Farmers Market opens from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind Haven and Valenza restaurants. The market is open rain or shine until December.

At 10:00am --Carlin Breinig is doing the weekly chef demo.
Great vendors, including Double B Farms, Fat Lady Baker, Bakeshop, King of Pops, Phoenix Gardens, West Wind Farms, Dillwood Farms, Mad Mama soups and dips, and Nazifa’s Middle Eastern delicacies.
West Wind Farms is now taking orders for fresh, never-frozen Thanksgiving turkeys.
Phoenix Gardens will be doing the first week of its CSA. Make sure to come sign up!
Dillwood Farms will have ornamental pumpkins for sale----- $3-$5 apiece.
