Brookhaven City Council To Consider Adult-Only Business Ordinance

The item is on the draft agenda for the next city council meeting, to be held Tuesday at 7 pm at The Retreat at Perimeter Summit.

The Brookhaven City Council is set to vote on a special ordinance that will determine if the city will regulate adult-oriented businesses.

The item is on the council's draft agenda for Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7 pm. The council will meet at the Retreat at Perimeter Summit, 1001 Perimeter Summit Boulevard.

The agenda for tomorrow night's meeting is also subject to change, and is subject to approval.

Other items on tomorrow night's agenda include approving a contract with Roadworx for road repair and maintenance. According to its website, the Roswell-based company currently provides public works and traffic services to Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Milton and Johns Creek.

Interim Deputy City Manager J.D. Clockadale is also scheduled to update the council on a search for a permanent location for council meetings.

An agenda for the meeting is attached as a PDF to this article.

I have a great idea....have council meetings at the new City Hall. I really hope they are not thinking of paying for a place to do council meetings.

Phil, you are brilliant. The new city hall location is convenient for District 1.
