The Brookhaven Bucks kick off their second season on Saturday at Oglethorpe University.
The Bucks take on the Douglasville Bulls at 4:15.
The team is part of the Sunbelt League, an eight-team summer baseball league for college-level players. Based out of the metro Atlanta area and supported by the Major League Baseball Alumni Foundation, the league also uses wooden bats, instead of metal bats used in official NCAA and collegiate competition.
Other teams in the league are the Berkely Lake Tides; Atlanta Crackers; Peachtree City Chukars; South Atlanta Bearcats; 6-4-3 Cougars; and Windward Braves.
All of the Bucks' home games are played at Oglethorpe. The season runs through the end of July, when playoffs begin.
