A Childhood Treat Revisited

Reliving your youth has never been so tasty

You have such fond memories of the summertime of your youth, filled with long days of swimming, followed by hot dogs on the grill and chasing fireflies in the backyard. And there is no more quintessential summer time dessert than a snow cone, and now you can enjoy one served up just for adults!

Nothing can beat the heat more than a refreshing cool drink, but Margaritas are so yesterday. Now there is a new way to enjoy a summertime beverage at The Ritz Carlton Atlanta, with their new Snow Cone Cocktails!

Visit the Atlanta Grill or Lumen lobby bar in the hotel and try out one of their snow cones, made with locally sourced fruit purees. Flavors include passion fruit, lemon and bourbon; watermelon, lime and anejo tequila, or blackberry, honey and moonshine. While the price may seem high at $12 a cone, these are not the snow cones that used to come in paper cups, and are well worth the cost.

So grab some friends, head down to this luxury hotel, and relive your childhood with this edgy variation of your favorite treat.

Available daily between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Below are the recipies for each of the snow cones, courtesy of the Ritz-Carlton
